Walter Peak Farm Tours
This is a New Zealand farming tour like no other – a visit to the Walter Peak High Country Farm and the perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing few hours enjoying the interactive experience. Includes a scenic cruise onboard the vintage TSS Earnslaw to the farm. A guided walking tour of the farmyard with our rural host. Demonstrations of the farming lifestyle. Afternoon tea, freshly baked at the farm. There are daily departures for the farm tour. Duration: 3 hours 30 mins
Inclusive Information:
The Walter Peak Farm Tour is a fun inclusive interactive experience for all. The fun part is the animals will eat out of your hands and even lap, so you get a very close up experience. The farm tour is accessed by a compressed lightly graveled road (see photos). Distance traveled on the farm tour is approx 1km, with some minor rise and fall on the farm tour path (see photos). Trip timing is, 1 hour on boat, 45 min farm tour, 45 min afternoon tea, 30min farm demonstration 45 min return boat.
