Christchurch Adventure Park
The base for epic mountain bike, zipline & sightseeing adventures as well as chilled out down-time in Christchurch Port Hills. Race through the valley on the dual zipline tour. Take in the stunning views from the chairlift or check out some sweet downhill. We've got two Gravity Quads available for hire for some serious gravity therapy.
Inclusive information:
To ride the park with your own adaptive bike is what the Park is all about. You will need extra information on getting up the chairlift and trails to ride as the park. The crew as with all their products including the Zip-lines are their to assist and work with your needs to make it work. There is a Makingtrax support harness available to ride the chairlift safely if required.
Gravity Quads:
Two Gravity Quads are available for hire at the Adventure Park. To be able to ride the Quads you will need to have full arm & hand function. Also be able to self transfer, see video below. The team at the park will explain trails to ride, starting with the easiest for a training run is mandatory before hitting any of the more technical terrain. Be aware of abrasion and pressure areas when riding these bikes.
Transport Information:
Based at the bottom of the Port Hills. You will need your own vehicle to arrive, see more information on Adventure Park website

For Zipline if you can self transfer and have people to assist you moving between stations contact the operator directly with plenty of notice. Include your ability, weight and contact number. If you are wanting info about or just want to rip your adaptive bike contact the Adventure Park and provide details including how you can transfer so the Park team can make your experience as comfortable as possible.
