Sea Kayaking
Sea Kayaking is a very inclusive activity, everyone is sitting and a tandem option is always available. Our operators provide a specially designed support harness that was designed by Jezza, himself a tetraplegic. This provides support to anyone who has limited function or rely upon a wheelchair for mobility. We have partnerships with R&R Abel Tasman, Kaikoura Kayaks, Franz Joesf Wilderness Tours, Paddle Wanaka, Southern Discoveries, RealNZ. Managed through Makingtrax.
Requirements
For all trips we personalise your tour with the business. Each region has different requirements due to access and company policy. If you have the strength to hold a paddle and can swim and self transfer it is very simple. If not there are challenges but if we can make it work we will.
